A nonprofit called Home Match is attempting to solve the housing crisis in the Bay Area and beyond.
While this organization has helped locate housing for nearly 200 residents in the San Francisco area, it has begun expanding to the Monterey Bay.
A resident of Monterey took advantage of their home matching service to fill her formerly-empty house.
Pending the receipt of additional funding, Home Match is slated to launch in Monterey between April and July.
