A suspected burglar is now being charged with homicide. On Thursday Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies responding to an interrupted burglary call gave chase to a vehicle fleeing the area. The chase ended when the suspects crashed near Highway1 and Jensen Road. Passenger, Jose Berber Vazquez, died from injuries sustained in the accident. The driver, Daniel Vasquez Medina, has been charged with burglary and vehicular homicide charges.
