A 38 year-old Salinas woman was declared dead-at-the-scene, and her passenger suffered major injuries. That after 18 year-old Carmel resident Jacques Clark’s vehicle rear-ended their’s in Salinas late Friday night. The 11:30 p.m. crash occurred at the intersection of Davis Road and West Acacia Street. Clark was reportedly driving at a high rate of speed. He was arrested after being evaluated for D.U.I.
