The penguin family at the Monterey Bay Aquarium is growing. Two penguin chicks hatched earlier this week and the folks at the aquarium are thrilled!
The tiny African penguin chicks weighed in at point-six pounds and point-two pounds. They are currently on exhibit with their mom and dad and as soon as they become mobile, they’ll be moved behind the scenes for a few months while they learn their basic life skills.
