Nearly three years ago the Dick Bruhn building in downtown Salinas suffered a major fire. The building’s owner now has 30 days to respond to 70 code violations alleged by the city of Salinas.
The complaints include nuisance, unsafe conditions, and blight. Salinas officials say they hope a judge will throw the building into receivership.
