There have been many overnight power outages as a result of the stormy weather. While most involve relative handfuls of people, two outages in the Opal Cliffs and Pleasure Point area are together impacting almost 1,800 customers. Two more outages in the Elkhorn/Moss Landing area have nearly 2,800 customers powerless.
Monterey County also has power outages, none as large as those in Santa Cruz County.
