Although parts of Santa Cruz county remain in the current scope of the potential Public Safety Power Shut-Off for tomorrow, as of this morning the impact had been reduced from more than 36,000 P.G. & E. customers….down to just over 1800 customers. The P-S-P-S, which was scheduled to start earlier in the day, is now estimated to begin at 8 p.m. tomorrow….with an All-Clear possibly being issued as early as 8 a.m. Thursday morning. Weathermen with PG&E (and the Santa Cruz County Office Of Emergency Services) are continuing to monitor the situation.
Residents are encouraged to restrict any activity that could spark a wildfire during the increased high fire danger times as well.
