Although no illnesses have been reported, Salinas-based Mann Packing Company has issued a Voluntary Recall for more than 140 different vegetable (and vegetable combination) packages. The concern is that the vegetables may have been contaminated with Listeria. In addition to Mann’s own label, many of the recalled veggie products are being sold under O Organics, Del Monte, Walmart’s Marketside, Kroger, Hungryroot, Albertsons Signature Brands, Trader Joe’s, and H-E-B. Some of those are retail brands while others are sold to food service companies. The “Best If Used By” dates run from October 11th to November 16th.
