A portion of Highway 1 was closed for a time yesterday morning, after a fire broke out inside the container a semi -truck. The truck was carrying recyclable materials that caught on fire as the rig traveled southbound on Highway 1 along the Mission Street Corridor. The cause of that fire is still under investigation.
