A Santa Cruz bicyclist died after going over a cliff Friday night.
Emergency crews responded to West Cliff Drive and David Way at about 7:30 p-m to reorts of an injured cyclist at the bottom of a cliff. Resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful and the man was declared dead at the scene. A vigil was held at the site on Saturday.
