A Gonzales man was sentenced to 4 months in jail and a year of parenting classes after he was convicted of child abuse. Police arrested 37 year old Agustin Valtierra Garcia after they saw a video of Garcia holding another child while his son beat him unconscious. The incident is said to have been a response to alleged bullying by the victim.
