A contingent of law enforcement seemed to keep the party safe and sane for Halloween revelers last night on the Pacific Garden Mall.
An informal count saw about 100 officers patrolling pacific avenue and the surrounding streets with only one arrest for public intoxication.
A “triple fine” rule is still in affect in downtown Santa Cruz until 9-am this morning… meaning folks will be fined triple the amount for public intoxication or vandalism.
