Hollister Police Chief David Westrick has announced in a blog post that he will be leaving the department at the end of the year. Westrick last day will be December 30th. He has been Hollister Police Chief since 2013.
Westrick said Captain Carlos Reynoso, Lt. Eric Olson and Lt. Dan Winn will run the department until a new chief is appointed.
Westrick did not announce his plans for what he will do after leaving the department.
