A Salinas man is facing drugs and weapons charges. Following an investigation officers obtained a search warrant for a residence on the 1100 block of North Sanborn Road. Prior to executing the warrant officers detained 20 year old Angel Cruz. A search of his home uncovered an illegal mushroom growing operation, LSD, and an unregistered gun. Cruz was booked into Monterey County Jail.
