In state news… today is the deadline to file claims against p-g &e to receive compensation for damages suffered from devastating wildfires.
The utility company set aside over 8-billion dollars for pay outs to victims and has mailed over six million claim forms to possible victims.
It’s estimated that up to 100-thousand victims are eligible to receive payments. However… some 70-thousand people may miss out on the payments because they’re unaware of today’s deadline.
