A new state law that has temporarily suspended the statute of limitations for the victims of child sex abuse allowing 2 men to file lawsuits against the Diocese of Monterey. The victims, now aged 74 and 75, were students at the San Carlos Catholic School in Monterey in the 60’s when Father William G. Allison sexually abused them. An attorney for the men says the diocese was aware of the abuse at the time it occurred.
