As Governor Gavin Newsom blasts p-g & e for failing to upgrade its grid… the c-e-o of the utility company offered an apology.
Chief executive officer of p-g & e, Bill Johnson apologized for the agency’s poor communication, failing website and overloaded call centers but said, ouote:
“we faced a choice here between hardship on everyone and safety, and we chose safety,end quote.
Johnson admitted the utility company was not adequately prepared while the governor said p-g &e is guilty of greed and mismanagement over the course of decades.
