Salinas police are quelling rumors this morning about a serial killer on the loose.
According to KSBW television, their newsroom received numerous phone calls and Facebook posts that six homeless women were murdered since September 22-nd.
Miguel Cabrera with Salinas p-d says those rumors are completely untrue and if in fact the rumor were true, police would absolutely get the word out in the interest of public safety.
