Volunteers in Pacific Grove are doing everything they can to bring the Monarchs back this year.
Next month, the butterflies will make their annual migration to P-G but last year the numbers were dismal. Scientists counted only 900 majestic monarchs, while the year before there were over 7-thousand.
This year, volunteers brought in 15-new boxed cypress trees to the sanctuary site… in hopes of providing a more butterfly friendly environment.
