A 17 year-old teenager reported that someone tried to kidnap her Sunday in Scotts Valley, but what reportedly really happened was that the man thought the teen was his missing daughter, and he was trying to get her to come home. The man’s daughter was last seen wearing similar clothing and was of the same age….and the female victim was covering her head with a hood and her face with her hands.
