The Scotts Valley police are investigating an attempted kidnapping. Authorities say that at about 4 p-m on Sunday a 17 year old female pedestrian was forcibly blocked by a motorist in a green pick up truck, another motorist witnessed the act and pulled over causing the assailant to leave the area. Anyone with any information on the incident is asked to contact police.
