In Chular… the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a case of animal cruelty.
“Levi” the Australian shepherd mix was apparently recovering from surgery when he wandered onto the next door neighbors cannabis farm. An employee of the farm saw Levi bleeding and thought he was a stray.
The employee claimed to have called animal control but got no results. He then took matters into his own hands and shot Levi.
