Medical personnel responded to reports of a Monterey Salinas Transit bus driver suffering from a medical issue on Highway 68 Monday afternoon. Authorities say during the incident the out of service bus careened across the highway before coming to rest partially blocking one lane. The driver was transported to an area hospital. At this time the driver’s condition has not been released.
