2 women were arrested after they were found to be in possession of more than 3 ounces of methamphetamine. That after a Salinas Police Department K-9 alerted officers to the drug during a traffic stop in Salinas. It happened at the intersection of North Main Street and Alvin Drive. The 37 year-old driver, Vanessa Macias, and her 24 year-old passenger, Joesiah Martinez, were booked into Monterey County Jail. They were reportedly both on Probation at the time of the arrest.
