For the first time since the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting, Christmas Hill Park is reopening to the public today.
The city of Gilroy plans to have a moment of silence at the temporary memorial site located under the large palm tree on the “ranch side” of Christmas Hill Park.
The park is slated to reopen at 8-AM this morning. More information on the memorial site, as well as park hours can be found online at CityOfGilroy.org.
