Authorities say that 3 firefighters were injured battling a blaze in south Monterey County on Sunday. Fire crews responded to the vegetation near Thorne Road and Arroyo Seco Road in the Greenfield area at about 2 p-m. The injured fire fighters were air lifted to burn centers with non life threatening injuries. One fire fighter was treated and released on Sunday, the other 2 were released by Monday morning. The fire is at 100 percent containment after burning 38 acres.
