A Watsonville man has been arrested on sexual abuse charges. 34 year old Rickey Crawford was taken into custody on Thursday following a week long investigation. The case started when a teen girl reported allegations of sexual abuse by Crawford to the Santa Cruz police, who then forwarded the information to Watsonville detectives where the alleged assault took place. Crawford was booked into Santa cruz County Jail in lieu of 50 thousand dollars bail.
