The Gilroy Foundation has received approximately 1.2 million dollars in donations so far, to help the victims of the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting. A spokesperson for the Foundation, said that although donations usually drop off after the 3rd week, the shooting took place 1 month ago today (on July 29th)….and the donations are still rolling in. In fact, she said, they’re coming from all over the nation….and the world. Members of the Gilroy Foundation are now encouraging the shooting victims to apply for some of those funds.
