A Seaside woman, who pleaded guilty to murdering a dependent adult, is now scheduled to be sentenced in December. That after Corrie Denise Arriaga physically abused, starved and imprisoned 33 year-old Courtney Ann Turney. Arriaga faces a sentence of “Life In Prison Without The Possibility Of Parole”. While being imprisoned in Arriaga’s apartment, Turney went from weighing 230 pounds in 2008….down to just 54 pounds at her death in 2017.
Turney also had a fractured skull, pressure ulcers, recent and healed rib fractures, and bruising and swelling consistent with blunt force trauma.
