About 300 people turned out for yesterday’s celebration of life for the youngest Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting victim. The ceremony for 6 year-old Steven Romero was held at Redemption Church in San Jose. He was remembered as a happy and outgoing child, with good manners, and a love of ballads by his favorite singer, “The Weeknd”. Steven’s mom, who was also hit by gunfire July 28th, was on-hand at her young son’s funeral.
