155 acres are scheduled to be burned in a prescribed burn in the Gabilan Range. The private property involved is east of Salinas. The burn is designed to enhance fire safety by removing brush and downed woody debris. This is the continuation of a burn that was conducted July 19th. Smoke from this controlled burn is likely to be visible from the Salinas Valley, up into Hollister and over into the Santa Clara Valley.
