Authorities are reporting that 2 inmates at Salinas Valley State Prison were hospitalized after being assaulted on Saturday. The inmates were injured in two seperate incidents late Saturday morning when multiple assailants attacked the lone inmates. At this time the nature and severity of the injuries has not been released.
