A fire broke out in south Monterey County Monday afternoon. The fire is being called the Lake Fire and is burning near the community of Lockwood. As of 4 p-m 150 acres have been burned, Cal Fire is reporting that several structures are threatened by the blaze. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
