The 330 solar panels that were installed on the Monterey Conference Center were turned on yesterday. The panels, which have a 25 year warranty, are forecasted to pay for themselves over the next 9 years…..and provide the center with a LEED Platinum Certification. That certification is expected to help the city bring in more conference business.
