New plans were unveiled yesterday for a proposed 4-story-high, 89-unit, beach-area condominium (and commercial development) in Santa Cruz. Representatives from Dream Inn owner (Ensemble Investments) told more than 70 attendees that the project will move toward a 4,000-square-foot market hall and a spa…..plus an outdoor public court. The project will be located on top of a surface parking lot at 190 West Cliff Drive. The proposed project includes two levels of subterranean parking…..with 421 spaces….and 10 affordable housing units. A public hearing for the project is tentatively set for august 15th, in front of the City Planning Commission; and September 24th, for final approval before the Santa Cruz City Council.
