The group, Santa Cruz United, has initiated the recall effort on two council members for their stances on issues, ranging from behavioral and protocol-related concerns to their views on local homelessness. Both councilmen dispute the groups allegations as politically motivated. The recall effort now has 4 months to get petitions signed.
