A California-based company has signed a “definitive agreement” to purchase Watsonville Community Hospital. Hansen Healthcare owns and operates several other hospitals and acute care facilities in California. Medicare and Medicaid recipients will still be cared for at Watsonville Community Hospital, and the sale is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
