A law, requiring the manufacturers of sugary drinks to put warning labels on each container, is one step closer to becoming a reality. Some of the beverages included are: sodas, soft drinks; and other sugar-sweetened drinks.
Notices would also need to be posted on vending machines and in restaurants. The Bill is now headed to the State Assembly.
