A UC Santa Cruz professor is under investigation over allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination. The university has placed Dimitris Achlioptas on eave Achlioptas is a professor at the Jack Baskin School of Engineering.
Two students made the claims. One is Muslim and claims the engineering professor called him a ‘terrorist’ repeatedly. The professor reportedly made sexually charged remarks to another.
The investigation is continuing.
