A Nevada grand jury has indicted two suspects in the murder of Monterey doctor Thomas Kirk Burchard. Kelsey Turner and Jon Logan Kennison are charged with conspiracy to commit murder and murder with the use of a deadly weapon on a victim 60 years of age or older. The indictment released by the Clark County District Attorney calls the murder willful, deliberate and premeditated. The murder occurred between March 3 and March 5, 2019. Turner, Kennison and Diana Pena are accused of killing Burchard in Las Vegas and leaving his body in the trunk of Turner’s car in the desert around Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
