The UCSC Baskin school of engineering is in the news this morning following allegations of sexual harassment, racial, gender and religious discrimination by an engineering professor.
While the university is not confirming the identify of the instructor placed on leave, the mercury news named dimitris (dee-mee-tris) achlioptas (ahh-kili-op-tas) as the man who displayed inappropriate behavior towards them.
The university is reportedly investigating the allegations by two students, who apparently also complained the Baskin school of engineering was slow to respond to their allegations.
