This morning investigators are on the scene of a fatal bike accident on highway one near Davenport that happened last nite.
Highway one was shut down for over three hours last night and motorists were detoured thru the old Cemex plant to get around the accident scene.
The female driver of a Prius, in her 60’s, apparently hit the unidentified bicyclist, in his late 60’s about 9:45 as he was riding in the southbound direction of highway one. He was killed instantly.
The c-h-p says the driver is cooperating with the investigation and so far there are no arrests or citations.
