According to KSBW television, Soledad Police have reported the death of Bailey, one of the department’s first canine officers. No cause of death has been announced for the female German Shepherd Dog who joined the department in 2002.
During her career, Bailey took part in special operations throughout Soledad and South Monterey County that lead to arrests for narcotics and felony crime.
