The Elkhorn Sough Foundation is getting an influx of federal funds. The 1 million dollars will be used to help restore 63 acres of marshland in the slough….which is near moss landing. Scientists say without properly restoring marshes, the marshes will end up under water within the next 50 years….because of the rising sea levels.
