A Red-Footed Booby…..is a new ambassador at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Sula was found 2 years ago off the coast of San Diego, with a fishing hook in her neck. Although she has since been rehabilitated, it has been determined that she would not be able to survive in the wild, so she will be a permanent resident at the aquarium….as are many of the birds in the Sandy Shore Exhibit area.
