Salmon lovers rejoice! The upcoming salmon season, due to open may first will be a good one… for a variety of reasons.
Yesterday, the “Pacific Fishery Management Council” announced a longer salmon season for commercial fishermen… at least 30-percent more time to fish this year.
The size of the salmon fishermen are allowed to catch will also be one inch longer than last year… 27 inches long.
This will most likely translate to cheaper prices and an abundant supply.
