The CHP is reporting that one person was killed and another was injured during a crash in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Saturday night. The incident took place shortly before 10:30 p-m, when a 45 year old Los Gatos man lost control of his car on Soquel San Jose Road at Old Turnpike Road, the vehicle flipped over and collided with a tree. The driver and a 42 year old passenger were transported to a trauma center where the driver was pronounced dead. Drugs or alcohol are believed to be a factor in the accident.
