A Greenfield man has been sentenced to four years in prison for having sex with a child.
The Monterey County District Attorney’s Office said 44-year-old Jose Zarco lived with the victim and her mother between during late 2015 and early 2016.
The DA’s Office said the victim was under the age of 16 at the time. The victim said she had sexual intercourse with Zarco numerous times when her mom was not home.
In addition to his prison sentence, Zarco is required to register as a sex offender. Zarco was also ordered to not have any contact with the victim for 10 years.
