Fire investigators with the presidio of Monterey are looking for evidence this morning… following the discovery of a body in the aftermath of a house fire.
The blaze broke out at a duplex on Brittany road in seaside about 3:30 yesterday afternoon. That’s known as the “Marshall park” neighborhood that was formerly fort ord.
The fire was quickly extinguished and that’s when the body was discovered and the fire is now a potential criminal investigation.
