Farmworker Becomes Woman Of The Year 03/06/19A 08:08 S.S.

It’s  Women’s  History  Month,  and  a  local  woman  (who  started  working  in  the  fields  when  she  was  just  11  years-old,  and  later  earned  degrees  from  both  Hartnell  College  and  C.S.U.-Monterey  Bay),  has  been  named  “Woman  Of  The  Year”.      Castroville resident  Diana  Jimenez  is  the  deputy  director of  Cal-Works  Employment  Services  For  Monterey  County,  and  feels  her  past  has  made  her  more  aware  of  what  People  In  Need…need.    

Jimenez  also  volunteers  on  numerous  BoardsCommittees,  and  Commissions  in  the  community
